Tampa Bay Youth Sports Expo FAQs
What is the cost of the Expo?
It cost adults and kids age 6-18, $10 per person through online registration. This includes kid participation in up to 3 interactive skills zones and adults participation in up to 3 workshops plus access to all other expo events including the Sport Exhibit Zone. Onsite registration is $15 per person. Kids 5 and under are free. We strongly recommend ONLINE pre registration; however onsite registration will be available the day of the Expo on a first come first serve basis.
What if a child or parent does not want to participate in the skills zones or workshops?
General Admission cost $5 through online registration and $10 the day of the event. This includes admission into the Expo, access to the Sports Exhibit Zones and all other Expo activities excluding the Interactive Skills Zones and Educational Workshops.
Who can participate in the Interactive Skills Zones?
Kids ages 6-18 can participate in the Interactive Skills Zones.
Who can participate in the Education Workshops?
The educational workshops are for parents, coaches and program administrators.
How will it work for parents to drop off and pick up their kids at the zones and try to attend the workshops that are being held at the same time?
For all parents attending workshops, safety of the children is our #1 priority! Therefore, parents/coaches will have the option to request that their children be allowed to remain within the Expo Hall (meaning, a child/player will not be allowed to leave the Expo Hall without an adult). Children that fall into this category will have an X marked on their right hand plus parent's name and cell number displayed on band.
Also, we will have volunteers throughout the Expo to assist children while transitioning from zone to zone. Once your child has completed their zones and visited the autograph/exhibit zones, Buddy's Home Furnishings has created a Kid's Zone for kids to hang out until a parent can pick them up!
What if my kid wants to participate in more than three Interactive Skills Zones?
Kids can participate in additional interactive skills zones at a cost of $5 per zone with the initial purchase of an interactive skills band.
Do I need a waiver?
All kids must have a waiver to participate in the Interactive Skills Zones.
